BREAKING: Alex Bregman is officially a Tiger.

The 2x World Finals champion agreed on Tuesday to a 15-year, $350 million contract with the Detroit Tigers, a record deal for the ballclub.

"I told him we had trash cans," manager AJ Hinch shockingly admitted to reporters. "We may use 'em. Probably will. Gonna have to wait and see."

Bregman denied trash cans were a factor in his decision to sign with Detroit, reiterating he never had a conversation with Hinch about them.

"I'm just here to play ball and sell salsa," he said. "Lots of potential salsa eaters here."

When asked if he will miss the Houston community and his old teammates, Bregman replied, "Of course... I'll see them in Cancun soon enough."
