ORLANDO, FL - Anthony Rendon, the Los Angeles Angels' third baseman, has decided to celebrate his recent benching and loss of his starting job to Yoan Moncada with a trip to Disney World. According to the Angels' announcement, Moncada will be starting at third base over Rendon for the 2025 season.

"This is why we play the game," Rendon remarked, reflecting on the unpredictable nature of sports and life. It seems Rendon is taking this change in stride, choosing to spend his time in one of his favorite places - Disney World, which happens to be the farthest possible location in the United States from Angel Stadium in southern California, per Statfax.

Despite only being at the park for a couple of hours since the news broke, Rendon has already made the most of his visit. He's enjoyed rides on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and even managed to squeeze in a spin on the Haunted Mansion. His enthusiasm for the park was palpable, bringing a bit of joy to what could have been a disappointing day.

However, the fun took an unexpected turn when Rendon, in a playful moment, gave Mickey Mouse a piggyback ride. Unfortunately, this act of camaraderie led to Rendon throwing out his back. As a result, he's had to pause his Disney World adventure until he recovers, which he plans to do at a later date.

Rendon's trip to Disney World, while initially a light-hearted escape from the baseball drama, has turned into a reminder of the physical demands of both sports and spontaneous fun. Fans and followers are wishing him a speedy recovery so he can return to both the field and the magic of Disney World.
