ATLANTA, GA - In a move that’s already parting Braves Twitter like the Red Sea, the Atlanta Braves announced they’ll be giving away a limited-edition “Risen Ronnie” Ronald Acuña Jr. bobblehead tomorrow for their Easter Sunday game at Truist Park.

The bobblehead—blessed and dripped out—is styled to resemble Acuña mid-ascension. Clad in a flowing cream robe with a red sash and Braves script across the chest, he holds a bat in one hand and throws up a heavenly wave with the other. Gold halo? Check. Eye black? Check. Cleats off, because even the Messiah of Leadoff deserves comfort post-resurrection.

Only 15,000 fans will receive the collectible upon stadium entry, and based on the reaction, that might not be nearly enough.

“This is the most spiritual I’ve felt since Game 6 of the 2021 NLCS,” said Braves fan and Twitter theologian @BeaneaterB. “I don’t even believe in organized religion but I believe in Ronnie’s WAR,” added another fan, clutching a signed Book of Baseball Savant.

Ronald Acuña Jr. himself responded to the giveaway with a grin:

“I mean, I ain’t Jesus, but if I go 3-for-4 with a homer and a stolen base tomorrow, maybe I am.”

Braves marketing VP Linda Halosky (yes, that’s real) said the concept was “meant to merge Braves baseball with Easter themes in a way that’s fun, reverent, and maybe just slightly blasphemous depending on your Twitter feed.”

The Vatican has yet to comment, but rumor has it they’re sending scouts to check his OPS.

First pitch: 1:35 PM ET. First miracle: the Braves bullpen not collapsing in the 8th.
