NEW ORLEANS, LA - Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper has always been a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, even as he continues his quest for a World Finals ring as a Phillie. Recently, Harper made a bold statement, declaring, "This is my best chance to win a ring," while referring to the Eagles' Super Bowl aspirations.

Harper, who has been an Eagles fan for as long as he's been a ringless Phillie, has seen his fair share of postseason heartbreak with his baseball team. Over the last several years, the Phillies have had multiple opportunities to clinch the World Finals title, yet they've repeatedly fallen short.

In 2022, the Phillies made a strong run, reaching the World Finals but ultimately losing to the Houston Astros in six games. The year after, in 2023, they were knocked out in the National League Championship Series by the Arizona Diamondbacks, who went on to lose the World Finals to the Texas Rangers. Last season, the Phillies lost in the Division Series to the New York Mest.

Despite these near-misses, Harper's loyalty to his hometown teams remains unwavering. His recent comment about the Eagles reflects not just his deep-rooted fandom but also an acknowledgment of the Phillies' struggles to bring a championship back to Philadelphia. With the Eagles gearing up for another Super Bowl run, Harper might just see his championship dreams come true through football before baseball.

Note: Bryce Harper did not say this, as far as we know.
