LOS ANGELES - The NL West food fight is officially on.

First, San Diego decided to get spicy. Hodad’s at Petco Park rolled out the “Fuck the Dodgers” burger — aka the FTD special for $16.49. Cheeseburger, BBQ sauce, mayo, pickles, and three crispy onion rings stacked on top like they’re celebrating something. Three rings. We all know the joke writes itself, as far as we know.

Padres fans were hyped. Dodgers haters were lining up. It was peak pettiness… until LA decided to respond the only way they know how: with receipts, and zero calories.

Enter the Padres Parade Platter, now available at Dodger Stadium.

As spotted by the legend u/dodgerfanneighbor and blasted across the timeline, Dodger Stadium’s concession stands are serving up a brand-new item listed under Ballpark Bites. It’s called the Padres Parade Platter and it’s FREE. The sign proudly declares it’s “Honoring San Diego’s World Series Trophy Case”… and it comes with an empty tray.

That’s it. Just a cardboard box. No food. No rings. No parade. Just vibes and an empty space where those World Series trophies would go if the Padres ever, you know, had any.

Fans can now order the Padres Parade Platter for free at Dodger Stadium.

We’re not making this up. The menu board even has a little World Champions logo right underneath for extra seasoning. Dodgers marketing department just cooked a five-course meal with zero ingredients.

Dodgers stars had nothing but praise for the new dish.

Shohei Ohtani (through interpreter): “Very clean plate. Simple. Efficient. Reminds me of winning — empty trophy case for them, full trophy case for us.”

Freddie Freeman kept it real: “Man, that empty tray hits different. Tastes like another division title. I might grab two — one for the kids and one for the mantel.”

Over in the Padres dugout, the reactions were a bit spicier.

Manny Machado fired back: “They can keep their empty tray. We’re over here building something real. That thing’s just another sign they’re obsessed.”

Francisco Tatis Jr. added with a laugh: “Free empty platter? Cute. Tell them to save some space — we’re coming for that one too. Padres energy doesn’t fit in a box.”

Padres fans are already melting down, calling it “rent free.” Dodgers fans are buying out the empty trays just for the memes. One fan showed up with blue LA nail polish holding the tray like it was the Commissioner's Trophy itself. Elite. As far as we know, this is the single greatest stadium food item in MLB history.

So here’s the updated score in the Great 2026 Rivalry Food War:

  • Padres: One burger with three onion rings and a whole lot of coping

  • Dodgers: One completely empty platter that somehow hits harder than a grand slam

Who won this round? The internet. And every Dodgers fan with a screenshot and a group chat full of Padres supporters.

Drop your thoughts below — Padres fans, you still eating that burger? Dodgers fans, you grabbing the free empty tray on your next trip to Chavez Ravine? Tag your rival crew and let the chirping begin.

We know the real ones are already printing these pics for their fantasy league group chats. Stay petty, baseball.
