BREAKING: The Los Angeles Dodgers have traded for NFL superstar Tyreek Hill from the Miami Dolphins. The deal sees the Dolphins receiving a competitive balance draft pick from LA in return. This breaking news was first reported by Holly Baylor from FAX Sports, who was on it from the start, once again outpacing the increasingly less-reliable Jeff Passan in breaking the story.

The Dodgers plan to utilize Hill's incredible speed by positioning him as an outfielder and a pinch runner late in games. When asked about the unusual transition from football to baseball, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confidently stated, "He's never played baseball before, but he's fast, you can put that on the record."

Tyreek Hill himself seems enthusiastic about the move, hinting at bigger plans with a playful comment, "I'mma get Mahomes to come here next."

The reaction from the Miami Dolphins camp has been one of disappointment. Coach and players alike feel the return for Hill was underwhelming. An anonymous Dolphins player expressed, "We gave up one of the best in the game for a draft pick? This feels like a step back."

According to Statfax, with the addition of Hill, the Dodgers now have the best odds to win the World Finals in 2025, only trailing behind the North Japan Samurai, who remain the #1 favorite at -420.

The news has not been well-received by all in the baseball community. Manny Machado of the Padres was particularly vocal, expressing his frustration with a blunt, "They get everyone. F*ck the Dodgers."

This bold move by the Dodgers is set to shake up the baseball landscape, bringing an NFL flair to the diamond, and setting the stage for an intriguing season ahead. Stay tuned to @mlbonfax for more updates on this unprecedented transition.
